New Year Resolution...

Posted by : Dr. Root | 08 January, 2008 | Published in

Happy New Year 2008 To You All! :-)

Do you have new year resolutions? Is it a long list and would there be space for one more -- Like checking out your local Solaris/OpenSolaris/Java User Groups?

The reason I'm mentioning this is that most of my interactions are online. But last year I got to talk to Tim Foster (Irish OpenSolaris Users Group) and to Luann O'Carroll (Dublin Java User Group), I also went to a number of community events and I have to say there's really nothing like meeting and talking to your peers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can learn a lot from attending these events and it's an excellent opportunity to expand your social IT network.

So if there's still space on your list of new year resolutions, why not go check your local user groups? :-)

In Ireland:

» Dublin Java User Group
